Leave it to
Bill Belichick. When faced with a deadline to cut his roster down to 53—
he goes it two better by ending up with just 51. While
Tim Tebow was the most notable cut on Saturday, there were also a few
other interesting moves. Safety
Adrian Wilson was placed on injured reserve, while tight ends
Daniel Fells and
Jake Ballard were both cut. Defensive lineman
Jermaine Cunningham was also cut—along with free-spirited punter
Zoltan Mesko. Tight end
Rob Gronkowski was
not placed on the PUP list and will join
Michael Hoomanawanui and
Zach Sudfeld at that position.
